Emailing pdf files

I am using apple Mail and recently when I send pdf files to clients they say they can not open them or they are corrupt. Everything on my computer is updated and it does not happen with every client and it does not happen all the time with the same client. Any help would be great I am getting tired of trying to send and resend files. Thanks

If these are clients using Windows, in the Mail compose window, click on the attachment icon in the toolbar, and when that file chooser appears. click the Show Options accessory button. Be certain you have this selection enabled:

What is generating the PDFs that you send to your clients?

How are you attaching those PDFs to your emails:

  1. Mail compose Attachment file chooser.
  2. Drag and drop of PDF into Mail compose window?
  3. Sharing from an Application : Mail : PDF approach?
