Mac OS Delete Former Network

A dialog box about signing into the Xfinity network pops up and I can't eliminate it. When I enter the name of another network on the Systems Preferences (Settings) Network page and I am away from home, Xfinity automatically replaces my entry.

How can I delete this former network?
