Sound on keyboard haptic iPhone 14 pro

The keyboard sound haptic appears to be in reverse. If I pull the volume to max the sound haptic is low, if I have the volume all the way down the sound haptic is annoyingly loud. It’s been like this since I first purchased the phone a few months back, I’ve restored the phone, factory reset it and still the volume control for keyboard sound haptics is reversed. I have a few apps that the volume control doesn’t even work at all even if I completely delete the app.

Hi G-WURT,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're having issues with your keyboard sounds on your iPhone. We recommend updating to the latest version of iOS to see if these issues persist after doing so. Here's how if needed: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.

"Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

  1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
  5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."

Since you've already restored to factory settings, if the issue persists, we recommend contacting Apple Support to look into this further here: Get Support.

Take care.
