I am having trouble envisioning what you are trying to do. Can you provide a more detailed description? What do you mean by "redeem a movie code"? What movie code are you talking about? To what "11 digits" are you referring?

O.K. I did a little reading and I think I understand how redemption codes work. They provide user access or some type of benefit to the purchasers. Usually, you must have some type of account or subscription in order to redeem -- such as iTunes, Apple TV, or a subscription service, etc. iMovie doesn't have that capability. Have you checked your DVD to make sure that the redemption code hasn't expired or is usable in this country?
You might call Apple Support and input your telephone number for a call back from one of Apple's techs.

When you buy an actual dvd or blue ray disk some of them come with a digital code to redeem digital movie on your device, there used to be a way to redeem those codes in the app but now the codes are not compatible..
Interesting. I have never heard of redeem codes for DVDs, so unfortunately am not in a position to be of any help.
Hopefully others who have some knowledge in this area will chime in.
