I just bought a new apple watch SE, when I was unboxing and trying to start the set up the watch was unresponsive. Is this normal?
Charging it now and hoping it will be fine but wondering if this is already a defect.

batteries will lose charge over time even if not used, so if it's been some time since it left the factory it's not unheard of
