On 24June, bought Airpod from SanFrancisco/Burlingame Apple store.

he charged wrong price and he cancelled. I ve refund bill also. When do you take my money back?

If I understand this correctly

  1. You bought AirPods from Apple.
  2. The sales person charged the wrong amount.
  3. You have a “refund bill.”


Can you please clarify what happened next?

  1. You say you have the “refund bill”? Is that an actual refund or just a notice that the refund was approved?
  2. Do you still have the AirPods?
  3. Exactly what are you expecting to happen next?


You could try going back to the SF/Burlington Apple Store and ask them about the process. Face to face might be the best way to get your questions answered. You can also tap Support at the top or bottom of the page. They should be able to help. If you plan to visit the store, you may want to make an appointment.

This link offers some good information. I’ve copied the pertinent part below. Also, to answer the question you asked of KiltedTim, a billing cycle can often be 30 days.


Returns & Refunds - Shopping Help - Apple


Refunds

Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. If you canceled a pickup item, and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancellation request. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:

  • If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item or cancellation request. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
  • Refunds on products purchased from Apple using an Apple Gift Card (or previous generations of Apple gift cards) will be issued to you as an Apple Gift Card by email. If you’d like us to send you a physical Apple Gift Card by mail, ask the representative helping you.
  • Products paid for using your Apple Account Balance will be refunded to your Apple Account Balance.
