The amount of space a 13 hour screen recording footage takes up on an iPhone 11 depends on the video resolution and codec.

  • 1080p at 60fps: 175-200MB per minute, or 22,250-24,000MB per hour.
  • 1080p at 30fps: 125-150MB per minute, or 15,750-18,000MB per hour.
  • 720p at 60fps: 90-100MB per minute, or 11,700-12,000MB per hour.
  • 720p at 30fps: 60-75MB per minute, or 7,800-9,000MB per hour.

The iPhone 11 uses the HEVC codec by default, which is more efficient than the H.264 codec. This means that a screen recording in HEVC will take up less space than a screen recording in H.264.

For a 13 hour screen recording at 1080p 60fps in HEVC, the file size would be about 286GB. At 1080p 30fps in HEVC, the file size would be about 189GB. At 720p 60fps in HEVC, the file size would be about 138GB. And at 720p 30fps in HEVC, the file size would be about 94GB.

If you are concerned about the file size of your screen recordings, you can change the video resolution in the Settings app. You can also use a third-party app to compress your screen recordings.

Please note that this is an estimate, and the actual space occupied may vary depending on different factors such as compression algorithms, audio inclusion, and the complexity of the recorded content.
