ould an app track my banking info?

An app requires full access and warns they can track anything typed like bank and credit card info. Can’t use the app without giving access. If I give access but deny tracking on it. Will they still be able to track my banking info? Thanks for any advice!

Anything you type can be seen by the keyboard app. It's a necessity of how keyboards work. You type things and those things would need to be seen by the app so they can the be transferred to whatever other app the keyboard is being used in so you can see what you type there and what you type is entered into the app.

The tracking you can deny, is advertisement tracking. Anything you type on the keyboard can be tracked and seen by the keyboard provider regardless of wether you allow this advertising tracking or not.

The keyboard cannot work without actually knowing and seeing what you type. It's like going to a doctor but not wanting them to know what is wrong with you.

If you don't trust the keyboard app, then don't install it.

Therein lies your problem.

You either grant permission and “trust” the third-party App - accepting the theoretical risk that the App might “snoop” on your keyboard input - or opt to use the system keyboard.

If privacy and security are your principal concern, use of a third-party keyboard might not be you best option.

Be aware that some third-party keyboards can be used without granting additional permissions. In operating in this mode, the third-party keyboard is still usable - but without some of the advanced functions that may be provided by the keyboard.

One such example is TypeFinity - whose impacted functionality is described here:
