Airpods Max still disconecting regardless

I´ve seen that this thread didn´t get much movement in the last couple of years. Has anyone found another solution or update to the matter? I´m dealing with this exact same issue, still, in 2023.

Hello santiagorodriguez262,

Were you able to try steps from the article previously shared, How to reset your AirPods Max - Apple Support? That can help with most AirPods Max connection issues.

"To restart or reset your AirPods Max:

  • First, charge them for a few minutes.
  • If you're experiencing issues with your AirPods Max, you can restart them. Press and hold the noise control button and the Digital Crown until the LED flashes amber.
  • You can also reset AirPods Max to factory settings. Press and hold the noise control button and the Digital Crown for 15 seconds, until the LED flashes amber, then white.
  • After you reset your AirPods Max, you can connect them to your iOS or iPadOS device, or connect them to your Mac or other device.

AirPods Max can be associated with one Apple ID. If you want to use AirPods Max that someone else has used, they need to first remove them from their Apple ID."

If the same happens after those steps, try pairing with another device to see what happens there. That will help to isolate whether the issue is with the AirPods Max or the connected device.

Kind regards.

Hi santiagorodriguez262,

Can you provide some more info on what specifically happens with your AirPods Max? For example, do they disconnect while in use? Do you go to put them on but they won't connect?

Also, do they show as disconnected in Settings > Bluetooth when this issue occurs? These details will help us better assist you.

Finally, for the moment, take a look over the tips here to reset your AirPods:

Let us know some more details if the issue persists and we'll follow up from there.

Cheers!
