Apple Watch Series 6

I bought an Apple Watch Series 6 on 05/19/21, the watch stopped working after swimming. The Water Lock function was turned on as I usually do when swimming. Apple support on site and by phone said that I had to buy a new one and there was nothing to do because it was out of the one-year warranty. It is a strange wonder that I will not use the Apple Watch anymore because I was doing what the equipment was designed for. Does anyone have the same issue with this model?

Apple Watch is water resistant, not water proof. Water resistance is a condition that wanes over time, so yeah, this happens.

Also, the water lock will not make your watch extra water resistant, it is only that the water will not turn on your screen.

They should say that while selling the product, you probably work for Apple, and you are wrong again, don’t post without supporting your answers for apple SERIES 6, you are misleading because you are talking about old series.

This is from the apple website:

  • Apple Watch Series 2 and later have a water-resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010.
