Apple music

I have a family apple music subscription (owned by my dad). I have been trying to log in to apple music using my browser (opera) when trying to log in after entering my details the log in window disappears, If I get my password wrong however it says password incorrect like it should. If I click try apple music it just says you are already a subscriber and I click done. could someone please help?


Edit: I have tried signing in by playing music and then having it ask me to sign in which sends a 2fa notification but after putting in the 2fa code it closes again

To start us off, this article explains how to use Apple Music on the web: Listen to Apple Music on the web and in apps - Apple Support. If those are the steps you are following, consider the following which could help narrow down the cause for this behavior:


  • Does this continue if you use another browser besides Opera, like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge?
  • Are you able to log into other Apple services or websites using the same username and password, like iCloud or on an iOS or macOS device?
  • Do you have your own Apple ID or are you using your Father's ID? If so, is he logged into Apple Music at the same time?
