Max VO2 MUCH Lower on New Apple Watch

Got a new Apple Watch, replacing an old Apple Watch which finally bricked. I’m 67 YO, very active, yoga, cycling, spin, rowing & walking. Max VO2 reading on old watch was 38-40. Max VO2 reading on new watch is 26. Tried recalibrating, didn’t change. Suggestions?
