Unable to change Auto-Lock on iPadOS 16.5.1

My auto lock cannot be changed. Why? I am using iPadOS 16.5.1

All models of iPad in recent years support either TouchID or FaceID - but not both.


Ensure that you have not enabled Low Power Mode, as doing so will override many iPad settings - including setting/fixing Auto-Lock settings to 2 minutes. When set to OFF, you can change/select from available options:


Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode - set to OFF
