Command + Z to undo stopped working. Had this issue once before and the solution to enable the Show keyboard & emoji viewers in menubar option worked. But now this checkbox seems to have disappeared under the keyboard options? Any idea how to fix?

Does Command Z not work in any app, including Mail, Safari, Message, Notes, Pages, etc?
For the box you were looking for, just click on Input Sources instead of Keyboard (Show input menu in menu bar).

The Edit menu has Undo and Redo selection so there is a work around.
Have you restated? If not, do so and retest.
yes it stopped working in every app. I checked and the command key and z key work fine on their own.
show input menu in menu bar is checked. Checked or unchecked does not make a difference.
I have restarted my Mac multiple times as well.
I have restarted multiple times already. I now work via the edit menu, but preferably I want to get command Z working again as this is much faster in my work.
