I have a Brother 7060D laser printer and now find I need an updated "driver" for the scanner portion of the functions. Can anyone guide me to finding that, or provide a link. Thanks so much. The Print* function works perfectly.

The latest drivers appear to be for macOS 10.15 Catalina:

Sometimes, a Catalina driver can be used for a few subsequent operating system versions as well.
Generally speaking, an ICA driver should allow the use of Apple's Image Capture for scanning.
If nothing else works, you could perhaps have a look at a trial version of a paid third-party product:

As always, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files before testing anything.

The macOS 10.15 drivers may or may not work with macOS 13. It would be entirely experimental (hence the importance of having backup copies).
There is also a Brother iPrint&Scan app. I do not know whether the scan portion would be useful in this case (scanning seems to be supported for the DCP-7060D).

The paid VueScan product should work with the scanner on a Mac, without installing any other software.
Thanks so much Jan! I did download from the Brother site - including a "firmware" update - but I will try this since what I believe I just downloaded was not* that* current. In my case I would not mind "buying" a third party driver if it puts the issue to bed! My MacBook Air Pro 15" is my 6th Mac - having previously had a 512k, Plus, Quadra, iBook, G4... the G4 my fav of that group. I went to PC due to cost but the OS just stinks IMO. From 1980 I worked for two systems software firms in the Princeton area.
A few things seem to be managed a bit differently now - since my last use of the G4 was in 2012. I'll work it out. So I am "old guard" Mac and as always - the community is fabulous. I once was part of a Mac chatroom which was global - there was a Jan there??? We even all met-up in London in 2004 and I remain friends with one of the group heads... but I messaged this board first since I need to be (as it were) back "home".
