It’s really weird, my phone isn’t receiving some messages. I got texts from my mom, up until last night. Tons of texts from group chats didn’t even show up. Anyone know how to fix this?

anyone have any alternative ideas to fix this? Everything is correct based on what Apple said.

If your iPhone 13 is not receiving some messages, it can be frustrating. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Check network connection: Ensure that your iPhone has a stable internet or cellular connection. You can toggle Airplane Mode on and off, restart your device, or check if other apps are able to connect to the internet.
  2. Disable Do Not Disturb: Make sure that the Do Not Disturb feature is turned off. When enabled, it can prevent message notifications from appearing on your device.
  3. Check message settings: Verify that your message settings are configured correctly. Go to "Settings" > "Messages" and ensure that "iMessage" is enabled. Additionally, check if you have any filters or blocked contacts that may be affecting message delivery.
  4. Update iOS: Keeping your device updated with the latest iOS version is important. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Software Update" and install any available updates.
  5. Reset network settings: Resetting your network settings can help resolve connectivity issues. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Reset" > "Reset Network Settings". Note that this will remove saved Wi-Fi passwords, so be prepared to re-enter them.
  6. Contact your carrier: If the issue persists, it may be related to your carrier. Contact your mobile service provider and inquire if there are any known network or messaging issues in your area.
  7. Consider a software restore: If none of the above steps work, you can try restoring your device to factory settings. However, make sure to back up your data before proceeding with this option.

If the problem continues, it's advisable to reach out to Apple Support or visit an Apple Store for further assistance. They can provide more specific troubleshooting steps based on your device and help identify any hardware or software issues that may be causing the problem
