Playgrounds cannot run any playgrounds.

I decided to check out the Playgrounds application for learning Swift and I cannot get the application to install any of the playgrounds. The app is syncing with iCloud and so are all of my files and folders. I have signed out of my iCloud, reinstalled the app, nothing works. The loading circle fills up and then sticks. If I try to open a new playground it warns me that the App couldn't communicate with a helper application.
