MessageReceiver pop-up panel at login/startup - SOLVED
PROBLEM:
At login/startup, a pop-up panel will appear, then disappear - in a fraction of a second, like a blip. The panel is blank except for the title: "MessageReceiver."
ANSWER:
The culprit is a plugin by FileOpen Systems for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
Here is the log message from Console > System Log Queries
[begin quote]
7/7/23 9:19:16.458 AM com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: (com.fileopen.Client.Broker)
This service is defined to be constantly running and is inherently inefficient.

To prevent the "MessageReceiver" panel from loading into memory, remove this file:
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.fileopen.Broker.plist
However, this has the following impact when accessing a pdf via Adobe Acrobat Reader DC:
Clicking OK yielded no discernible problem with viewing pdfs.
Maybe someone can offer a better solution.
RETROSPECTIVE:
As the issue of the "MessageReceiver" popup panel blip has been brought up by concerned Apple users, this is something to look into, especially with regards to reclaiming your mac from memory-burdening processes.
