Hi anumk35,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We noticed that you recently reviewed Listen with spatial audio for AirPods and Beats - Apple Support which is a great article to get you started with spatial audio. Did you have a chance to review that article and make sure everything is set up properly. You'll want to make sure that your components are correct. The following basic info from that article may help.

"What you need

  • AirPods Pro (1st or 2nd generation), AirPods Max, AirPods (3rd generation), or Beats Fit Pro
  • The built-in speakers on an iPhone 7 or later, or on one of these iPad models:
    • iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (3rd generation) and later
    • iPad Pro 11‑inch
    • iPad Air (3rd generation) and later
    • iPad (6th generation) and later
    • iPad mini (5th generation) and later
  • iOS or iPadOS 15.1 or later
  • The built-in speakers on a Mac computer with Apple silicon
  • Apple TV 4K with tvOS 15 or later
  • Audiovisual content from a supported app"

If you have the AirPods or Beats models in that article as well as an iOS device that is compatible and the same continues, also test with a different audio type such as music or videos to see if this may be a factor. Then, it may be best to reach out to Apple Support for a closer look. You can contact Apple from Get Support.

Cheers!
