Sounds from the Mac Studio speakers keeps turning on and off

We need to see what all is running & machine specs, a report from this will not display any personal info...

when i switch back over to internal Mac Studio Speakers the problem goes away.

Low disk space - This computer is running low on free hard drive space.

You want to address that shortage asap, lest possibly losing all your data.

I have a similar problem. I'm using my headphones jack for external audio and it cuts in and out at louder volume levels. It's stable at regular levels.

okay. i've fixed the low free HD space issue. music still cuts in and out at louder volumes. Doesn't seem to matter if sound is coming out of VLC or out of a web browser.

That'd be a good guess. :)

i'm thinking maybe my speakers are jacked up somehow. I just tested with some sony headphones and it was working fine.
