Clip Syncing Not Happening
FCPX is not syncing clips in Keyword folders on to the my timeline. Tried clearing preferences with option/keys at start of FCPX & no luck.

You have multiple clips selected. Sync clips is for syncing video to one or more audio tracks, not for syncing multiple video clips. You need to use the multicam clip function.
Create multicam clips in Final Cut Pro for Mac – Apple Support (AU)
When I click on the Synchronise Clips, the next window appears and clicking on OK, the process begins (activity bar) but stops after less than a minutes. The selected clip are not synchronised on the timeline.
In addition to what Tom said, the created sync or multicam clip will appear in the Browser, not the timeline. Once you create the clip (in this case, like Tom said, it should be a multicam), you can add that clip to any project you want, like any other clip.
Please explain in detail what you’re doing. I don’t understand what syncing clips to the timeline means. Maybe screenshots will help.
