Hello,
Finder consistently prompts for a password every time I attempt to delete certains files or transfer them to a different folder. What can I do? I've already changed the permissions (command + i) but nothing changes.

Specifically, ensure you are an admin or the items owner. Here's how:
Change an item’s owner
1. On your Mac, select the item, then choose File > Get Info.
2. If the information in Sharing & Permissions isn’t visible, click the arrownext to Sharing & Permissions. (You may also need to scroll down.)
3. If the new owner’s name isn’t listed in the Name column in the Sharing & Permissions section, click the Add buttonto add the new owner.
4. Select the new owner in the Name column, click the Action pop-up menuat the bottom of the window, then choose “Make __ the owner.”
You can undo any changes to an item’s owner in the Sharing & Permissions section since opening the Info window. Before closing the Info window, click the Action pop-up menu
