what is the difference between backing up my Itunes library vs. exporting my Itunes library? I have rebuilt my Library too many times. I have tried to previously back up my tunes library only to reload the mp3 files minus the album covers, dates, genres, number of plays, sorting, and more. Is there a way to back up my Windows iTunes library and have everything restored in the future?

This can be imported into a new empty library, but only works if you have all of the media files in the same locations as before, and it resets Date Added.
