Sign-in issues with iCloud

Hello! About 2-3 weeks ago I created a new account for work but I have issues with iCloud. It doesn't let me sign-in even though the password is correct. I tried everything, I check the server status, restarted the device, checked for OS updates, checked time/date, I did a password reset but nothing!

I get this from the browser:

And from the iPhone's settings I get the "Wrong username or password" error.

iPhone 14

Properly Assigning a New Apple ID to an iPhone:

Set this Up Anew:

You are using a new Apple ID. It is currently assigned to another Apple ID. So, back up what need be, then reset you iPhone to factory settings, as if you were to sell it. Perform as insctuhated here including the iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade In your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

No succes?...

For Account Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

"This device is provided to me the company I work for. The previous user just did a factory reset and didn’t do anything else from his account settings. Is this the reason? The device might be still registered on his account?"

Thank you for the reply.

Troubleshooting a Company-Owned Device Login:

Either (A.) this is assigned to your co-workers info. OR (B.) it is a company-loged in device. So, contact the Network Administrator, requesting for assistance with getting in.
