Can't sign into iCloud

I've been unable to sign into iCloud today with my existing password. I keep getting a server error. It finally prompted me to give my account a new password and then I get the error "Cannot Verify Identity - Your action could not be completed because of a server error". The status page doesn't indicate an outage. Can someone assist?
