Cannot send or forward mail through my charter.net account. "Sender address invalid"

Can receive mail thru my charter.net account on my ipad mini 4, but cannot send or forward mail. Get "Sender address invalid".

Have tried recommended fixes to no avail.

Unable to send email messages from Mail on iPhone through Charter/Spectrum email account. I have a charter.net email address. I have the address setup in Mail with the Charter / Spectrum Email settings document. I can receive email just fine anywhere however I cannot send mail anywhere, it is always stuck in the Outbox. Charter says everything is good on their end, and I know the setting are correct. I have deleted and re-added my account several times but get the same result. Anyone have this issue that can help? Thank you!

Have you tried the recommended fix of recognizing that charter.net no longer exists and is now part of Spectrum?

Tried all the fixes. My charter.net address is still valid because they are keeping it for customers that have

been with them so long. Called Spectrum, they said to call Apple but I couldn't understand the rep I got, so

hung up. Still receive and send on my pc, so have given up for now on the ipad for outgoing email. Thanks for your response though.
