How Do I Block Temu.com from all my Apple products

What is Apple doing to combat Temu.com? It’s is a malicious website that adds popups to virtually every site I navigate to.

The site supposedly sells products but they’re all worthless junk and it’s obviously some kind of cyber attack, when will there be a firmware defense against it?

I had removed the app, however my iPhone is still subjected to mass pop-up ads even after enabling "block pop-ups". Is there any other way to stop these ads? I've tried everything so far with no luck. I have the latest iOS and still have the problem.

I have quite a few questions here. One when I chose to delete Temu and remove all data by stopping data then deleting through settings, along with no auto backups. If i redownload then it shows my old logins as an option to login. Where is this data saved? The pop up’s are not just pop up’s but exactly what you look at on TEMU, where is this data saved? Where are the cookie ‘s saved for this program? Why do they not go away? I will delete all history, cookies etc on safari and chrome and see what happens but its quite annoying that they will link your account with your rommmates account etc..I don’t understand where all of this data is being saved? Is it IP address based?

temu is a legitimate Chinese company that sells a wide range of products. It is not a malicious website. It is actually a larger web merchant than Amazon. As to the quality of its products and their customer service they get mixed reviews, but probably no worse than many other discount businesses. All of their marketing is through ads on websites and free apps, which is why you see them frequently. They also have an app in the app store and the Google play store.

I have recently installed the Temu app on my device and they have hijacked a lot of my 3rd party apps to display Temu ads instead of the normal ones, and yes they are also serving pop ups and tab openings with their ads in safari. iOS 16.5. Legit company yes. What they are doing might get them banned after enough people start speaking up. App Tracking and personalized ads are turned off on my devices.

Temu is a large online commerce website, and looking to get larger.

Temu advertises widely, yes. Including in the US Super Bowl.

Is Temu a “cyberattack”? No.

Is it a “malicious website”? No.

Is there a “firmware defense”? No.

Are there products with low prices, and with long delivery times? Yes.

Whether something is “worthless junk” is up to each buyer to decide.

You can look for and install an ad blocker to block many of the online ads, including those of Temu.

Apple continuously works on enhancing its security measures to protect users from malicious websites and cyber attacks. While there isn't specific public information about Apple's actions against Temu app.

Because Temu is a large, worldwide business that is a subsidiary of PDD Holdings, a $300bn publicly traded company based in China. Its website is not malicious, and it doesn’t launch cyberattacks. It probably collects data from anyone who visits its site or buys from them, but so does Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and every other large company. Overall it has a fair to good reputation among its customers, with the biggest complaint being slow delivery.
