Safari 14.1.2 is the highest possible version with Mojave. To update Safari you will need to upgrade to Catalina or higher if possible.

If you can't or don't want to upgrade your macOS, for security reasons you should consider using a 3rd party internet browser that supports their current version with your older macOS. One example is Chrome https://www.google.com/chrome/

Thanks very much FoxFifth. That was pretty much my understanding, but I thought possibly there was a workaround the problem. I don't believe that my version of some of my programs that I use to publish a weekly advertising-only paper here in Middle Tennessee will work with Catalina. I have resisted the macOS upgrade, but I may be forced to pull the trigger. FileMaker Pro17Advanced, for instance, is the program we use to process our classified ads. Just for starters. We already have Chrome installed, that I use for other purposes. Again, thanks for your advanced input on a solution to my problem.
