SIM Card slot is required for USA models also

When I buy iPhone 14 or later in USA, I can not insert my existing India SIM which I need in USA also. I keep traveling from USA to India, I need both SIM cards in my phone. I was able to do this until iPhone 13Pro Max. India mobile operators can not activate India eSim when the device is not in India. This situation is forcing Apple to buy Android phones with SIM card slot.

Need a SIM slot? Buy an iPhone 14 in India, or elsewhere. Or buy an Android, if that works better for you.

eSIM is where Apple is headed. I expect SIM is headed for gone too, with the possible exception of a few places.

Up to eight eSIM slots are available in recent iPhone models. Populate those that are needed.

Yes, cellular carriers, being carriers, can be frustratingly slow to adapt. (India has three eSIM carriers.)

Log your feedback with Apple. But expect SIM to disappear in most places, if not world-wide.

There is an issue if I convert to eSim in India. If I buy iPhone in India I can not transfer my USA esim in India to iPhone and also in future if I upgrade to new iPhone in USA, I can not transfer India eSim to the mobile purchased in USA. I belive this issue for all the people who travel different countries from USA. This is making me permanetly moving out of using iPhones from iPhone 14 onwards. Apple should rethink on this. This is not a good idea removing physical slot. What if the phones are broken or phone is dead becasue of any reason, we cannot wait until we visit the customer care to transfer the eSim to different phone.
