Hey there niru128,
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.
Just to confirm, are you attempting to add an emoji or emoji keyboard using the steps shown in this link here: Use emoji on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
Add an emoji
Find the emoji keyboard in any app that uses the standard keyboard, like Mail or Messages. To add an emoji:
1. Tap the text field, then tap the Emoji button
or the globe
.
2. Tap the gray icons at the bottom of the keyboard to switch emoji themes, or swipe left or right to view more. Tap the clock
to see emoji that you've recently used. You can also search for the emoji you want to add in the "Search Emoji" field.
3. To change the skin tone of certain emoji, touch and hold an emoji.
4. Tap an emoji to add it to your text field.
Don't see the emoji keyboard?
If you don't see the emoji keyboard, make sure that it's added.
1. Go to Settings > General and tap Keyboard.
2. Tap Keyboards, then tap Add New Keyboard.
3. Tap Emoji.
If so, have you attempted to restart your iPad since you noticed that there was no option to add the emoji keyboard? If not, then we would recommend giving that a try with the steps shown in this next resource: Restart your iPad - Apple Support
While restarting may seem like a simple step, it can often help with resolving some unexpected issues like this.
Keep us updated on what you find.
Take care!
