The bank insists my inability to add my MasterCard to Apple Wallet is down to Apple. I have other cards in the wallet so it is just this one that I can’t upload. My iPhone SE is up to date as is it’s software. Any contemporary suggestions as ones on this site date to 2015.

The verification process is as follows, when you attempt to add the card, after entering card details, the verification process starts. Your bank receives the data from your iPhone and then your bank generates a verification code and sends it to your iPhone. If the bank doesn’t send it, the iPhone can add your card.
Verify with your bank the contact information they are using. The must have your iPhone number for voice and text and your current email address.

Error message is ‘Card not added. Contact your card issuer for more information ‘. which I receive after agreeing to terms and conditions but I never receive a code. I have contacting te issuing bank several times starting roughly 18 months ago. Also, the answer is ‘yes’ to all of the above questions.
Thanks but I have done all this. I am well aware of the process and what is meant to happen. I have contacted Customer Services at the bank 7 times and not knowing what else to do filed a complaint. The bank is stumped and suggested I get in touch with Apple Pay.
