Bose soundtouch no longer works on iPhone 14 pro after update

The sound touch app has worked fine since I got the 14 pro a few months ago.

It stopped working after the last update.

The app can't find speakers.

But the app still works on my old phone, an 11 pro.

App has been reloaded 2x. Settings are correct. Bluetooth is on, etc.

I have used the sound touch app for years and it is touchy.

This problem is in definitely in the phone.

All speakers are playing now with the old phone but the 14 pro stopped recognising the entire system after the latest update to 16.5.1.

Thanks for your ideas

Contacted Bose and they confirmed that app is not compatible with IOS 17.4.1. So it’s wait for the app to be updated.

No. The problem is not the iPhone or the system update. The problem is Bose. They discontinued the entire SoundTouch line several years ago, and have never updated the app or the desktop software. I called technical support, and they told me, basically, that if I want to access an NAS Drive or a local Apple Music library, I have two choices: buy new Bose hardware, or go pound sand.

Well, it’s been fun while it lasted . March11/24 I updated my iPhone 14+ to 17.4 . Now I cannot connect to ANY speakers in the Soundtouch App on that device. All speakers connect and can still be “seen” from my iPad ( older device not running 17.4 ) and BlackBerry Key2 running Android . So disappointed as I really love been able to control all my speakers throughout the house and garage all from one App.
