news has too many ads!

All of a sudden my Apple News has so many ads in it. Maybe I didn’t see them but now they are everywhere. Every third post seems to be an ad. Ads everywhere! I can’t get to the articles without wading thru ads that take up a full third of the iPad's screen. If the ads were smaller, or fewer, I could see staying but I can’t keep scrolling thru the garbage showing up now on Apple News. This is exactly why I abandoned Facebook, they went too far pushing what they wanted me to see. AppIe, I expected better of you.

I suggest sending feedback to Apple. As with any free service that offers a subscription model that eliminates ads, it is a fine line between ad monetization and poor user experience. If they have crossed that line you should let them know. Of course everyone would want an ad-free experience, it can go too far.

Now this is just getting strange. Apple News on the iPad is full of half-page sized ads that occur every 3 or 4 swipes. Apple News on the iPhone has zero news in it, at least on my phone.

I'm definitely going to send them feedback and tell them to stop already! I can see an ad that's maybe 1/2" banner, but these full-size take-over-your-screen ads are ridiculous IMHO.

I know. The ads are everywhere and they’re ugly. It ruins the experience, especially on an iPad where the ad takes up the entire page.
