Return keyboard and mouse too?

Answers in the Apple forum say (without reference link) "instructions clearly state you don't have to return keyboard and trackpad". I don't see that anywhere in the trade in instructions or FAQ. They mention cables don't need to be returned though in those same forums it says I'll be debited if I don't return the power cable. I'm totally confused. What is true?

Does a trade in iMac desktop require the keyboard, mouse trackpad returned?

I'm not too concerned about the power cord since that won't be useful to me after trade in.

You don't have to return accessories or cables. This includes keyboards, mice and the charging brick.

See the "" section in the FAQ in the following website.

You don’t have to, but you can always send in your chargers, cables, cases, and watch straps and we will recycle them for you.

You can send the cable in and it will be recycled. You can keep the keyboard and mouse.

Thanks Phil,

You're probably right but I was hoping for more specificity in the answer. FWIW - That is the exact section of the FAQ to which I was referring. While the answer mentions "accessories", it lists cables and watch straps, not keyboard/mouse/trackpad. Since the latter are much more valuable and not specifically listed, I am still left wondering if they are included in Apple's definition of "accessory" - because they were actually bundled with the computer and since some computers (ie. laptops) these parts are of course integral to the computer.
