My Cinema HD display doesn’t work with my new Mac mini m2 pro. The display has a DVI connector. I have bought a usb-c to DVI converter. Gives this weird lines.. hdmi male to dvi female converter gives a black screen. Anyone a thought how this can be? And how to fix??

A1083 is one of the two 30 inch DVI models with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels.
Single-link DVI doesn't support anything over 1920x1200. That's a DVI thing, not an Apple thing. In order to take advantage of the full resolution of that monitor, you will need a dual-link adapter and a dual-link cable.

It should work with a Dual-Link DVI adapter, such as:
Your USB-C DVI converter is probably loose in its connector somewhere.
The thumb screws should be fully in.
Sometimes USB-C converters also need their own source of power to convey the information.
I also believe that some of Apple's displays require a dual-link DVI connector. Look for that style connector, as that may work better.
