Restart both devices. This does solve a lot of Airdrop problems.

Are you able to go from the iPad to the iPhone?

Try changing the Airdrop setting to allow receiving from Everyone to see if that works for the receiving device.

Hello!

Try to go in "Settings" then toggle the green switch off for "WiFi" and also for "Bluetooth". Do this for both devices.

Then go in Control Centre (swipe down from the upper right corner of the screen) and see if the two options are crossed over with a line. Then turn them back on by tapping on each (Bluetooth and WiFi). After that AirDrop should turn on automatically.

Try to send the files now.

Let us know if it worked!
