Is the Apple USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter not supported in Ventura? Brand new M2 Mac Studio max. I can't get this to send VGA at all. It's still for sale on the apple site. What gives? I need two monitors and this apple product should work. This adapter has worked fine on my other Macs, including an M1 Mac mini and a 2016 MB pro.

have you used the "Detect Displays" button?
go into System Settings > Displays and at the bottom of the right panel, you will see a "Night Shift" button. press and hold your keyboard's "option" key and the "Night Shift" button becomes the "Detect Displays" button. then while still pressing the "option" key, click that button.

Unfortunately it was the first thing I tried. Then plugging/unplugging, starting in safe mode, unplugging the monitor, awaking from sleep, updating to the latest OS update. It's amazing that I can get 10 year old hardware to run great using a thunderbolt chassis, but an apple dongle, that is still for sale, is troublesome to so many in the community. Ughhh.
