Get iCloud calendar in Google calendar for iPad app

I can’t seem to find the answer to this anywhere. I want to open my Google Calendar app on iPad and see and edit my iCloud calendar events. It’s on my iPhone and it was on my previous iPad, but now I have a new iPad and they’re not showing up. I already can see my Google calendars on the apple calendar app. That’s easy. What I want is for my iCloud calendars to show up on the Google Calendar app, I want to do that without making my calendar public. Can anyone help? I know it can be done because it’s on my iPhone.
