iPhone Calendar not syncing with Google Calendar

Calendar is not syncing with my Google calendar. I reviewed previous answers to this question, and this path isn't available on my iPhone:Settings > Passwords & Accounts. I tried removing the Gmail app and reinstalling it, but the Gmail app remained in the cloud and wasn't completely uninstalled. Now what?

Events from deleted calendar(s) showing on calendar app (iOS), but not on iCloud web I just switched to iPhone after being a life-long Android user. Surely I did something weird. I used the Move to iPhone app and it added my google calendar accounts to my new phone. Seemed fine. However I was getting events multiple times; it seemed that I was getting notifications from each calendar account, and also from the default "Calendar" that was created by the Apple Calendar app. I decided to just use the Google app for my calendar events (for now?), so I deleted the accounts from Calendar via settings, but those events from the now-deleted calendars/calendar accounts are still showing up on my default "Calendar" in the Calendar app and syncing; and worse, I'm seeing them in triple now. I can't find a way to clear my calendar app; when I sign in to the iCloud web-version of the calendar, there are no events. I tried creating a calendar event there, and it did _not_ sync to my phone as I expected it to. What I've tried: rebooting the phone deleting and re-installing the Calendar app disabling/enabling sync

Got new iPhone 16. Gmail calendar Unable to connect to account I cannot search in the Calendar. At bottom of calendar home page there is a ! next to Calendars. Choosing Calendars, Gmail calendar is unable to connect to account

Yahoo Calendar Not Syncing My yahoo calendar will no longer sync with my phone. My google calendar does. I deleted and added back several times and nothing. Yahoo mail still shows up, but calendar will not. The phone is up-to-date. I checked all settings in my Yahoo, not that I had changed anything, but everything is marked to share calendar.

To fix:

Settings → Mail → Accounts → Google → turn ON Calendars
Calendar app → Calendars → check all boxes
Toggle Calendars OFF → ON
Confirm Google didn’t block sign-in
Remove & re-add account if needed

This resolves the issue for nearly all iOS 18 users.
