How to prevent iPhone 12 battery from expanding further?

Hello, I've had my iPhone 12 for some years now, over the past year the battery expanded so I had to have it replaced. Over the last two weeks it's started to expand again, I'd like to know how to slow/regress this expansion, if possible?

I am currently in another country for another 2 weeks so repairing it is a bit out of the question right now. I don't use my phone that frequently, however I'd still like to take pictures as I am on holiday.

If anyone can offer any tips, I'd appreciate it a lot. xxx.

This is not possible because your battery is outdated (chemically). If you have a maximum capacity of less than 80%, your iPhone will require a battery replacement at an Apple authorised centre or you can walk with the same battery that has a small capacity

If you had the battery replaced and that replacement battery is expanding, then you need to contact whomever replaced that battery. If Apple did not replace the battery, then it is very possible you do not have an OEM battery which could be leading to the issue. You may need to have Apple examine the device to see if there is something about the device that is causing that problem.
