Is it okay to use case and screen protector on Macbook Air M2? I heard that it’s not recommended for some reasons

Anything that inhibits air flow over the exterior or through the interior or stresses the hinge when the lid closes is bad. Even thin material can stress the lid's hinge.
best just to get a sleeve for carrying it and recognize the device is electronic in nature, is rather heavy so a drop can do serious damage and exercise normal caution. Keep liquids away from the keyboard.
