You should take your iPhone in for an examination:

There are two possible reasons for the message that you see:
1) The camera was replaced with a non-genuine Apple part
2) If the camera was not replaced, there is a problem with the camera.
Make an appointment at the Apple Store or authorized Apple Service shop to have the camera checked out. You can use the link below to find an authorized repair shop in your area.

Does this need IOS update?
You should update iOS, as the current version is 16.5.1 (c).
That will not affect your camera message, however.
