Hi Tumorboy,

Assuming you're using the latest iOS for your iPhone model, for help with Siri check your current response settings using the information below found in the guide here: Change Siri settings on iPhone - Apple Support

"Change when Siri responds

Go to Settings > Siri & Search, then do any of the following:

  • Prevent Siri from responding to the voice command “Hey Siri”: Turn off Listen for “Hey Siri.”
  • Prevent Siri from responding to the side or Home button: Turn off Press Side Button for Siri (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Press Home for Siri (on an iPhone with a Home button).
  • Prevent access to Siri when iPhone is locked: Turn off Allow Siri When Locked.
  • Change the language Siri responds to: Tap Language, then select a new language."

Test changing the options and activating Siri directly from your device. If the issue is only related to the "Hey Siri" feature, check out and complete the steps here: If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone

As mentioned in the article "If Siri activates when you press the side or Home button, but doesn't activate when you say "Hey Siri," contact Apple Support." You can get connected using the link in the article or get started here: Get Support

Cheers.
