Pairing my Apple Watch to a new iPhone

I have a new iPhone 14 and did not disconnect my Apple Watch from my old iPhone 12 before I erased and restore factory settings. My new iPhone will not pair with my old Apple Watch and I cannot find a way to get it to happen. It does not involve erasing all information unless I have access to my original Apple ID and password, which I do not. Is there any other way to pair it to my new iPhone without erasing the information on my Apple Watch?

Here is everything you can do:

If you made a backup of your old iPhone (to iCloud or on a computer) it should also include a backup of your watch which you can use after erasing your watch as long as you keep using the same Apple ID (which you should in any case).
