what is Plesk Desk?

I use a MacBook Pro. Every time I try to open the website for my doctor's surgery Plesk Desk opens. I can't seem to get rid of it and don't know what it is.

It appears to be a web hosting service, probably what the surgery uses to build and run the website. You should ask them about it.
