Yahoo Mail on MacBook Pro

Using System Preferences/Internet Accounts I am attempting to add a Yahoo mail account.

I see the Yahoo sign on screen, and enter my email address.

I then see a second sign in screen asking for userid.

When I enter either an email, or Yahoo userid, and click continue the page hangs... Nothing happens.

Eventually it times out.

Login to Yahoo Email When I try to login to my Yahoo email account on a macbook air, I can't advance past the blue "continue" button after entering user ID. This just started one day ago. I have done all updates, cleared history/cache, restarted, etc. I can login on another laptop or desktop, just not the macbook air. I enter my user ID and click the blue button that says "continue" and nothing happens. Also, the mail app in the dock won't sync either. Any suggestions???

Cannot open browser to sign into Internet Account (mail account) I need to add a new account to my mail desktop app and sign into an existing email account to resume the receiving of emails. However, when I press "open browser" to sign in, the pop-up window does not load. I kept it open for over 2 days once and it still did not load. The "open in safari" button is also greyed out. The same issue with the browser pop-up appears when I try to sign in from the Mail app as well as Preferences. Please refer the image below. Please let me know if there is another way to sign in to my mail app. If there is a way to solve this, I would appreciate an explanation of it. Thank you! I can't get yahoo as my mac mail account despite following the advice re: system preferences -adding the account under system preferences or as add another account Hi. I can't get yahoo mail to work as my Mac mail account. I have followed all the steps re system preferences, adding a yahoo account, trying to do it manually under add another account too. My login details for yahoo are correct but still mac won't verify the yahoo mail account. My husband changed the Mac to link it with my apple ID recently and thats when the problem started

Change the Default Browser from ??? to Safari
