Why do I receive invoices from a supposed Pay Pal account, without it having my registered email address?
many thanks!

Hello Dolmen,
Unfortunately, once your email is out there it is almost impossible to stop spam, scam, and phishing emails. I'd recommend blocking the address.
You can also setup inbox rules to effectively deal with spammers and scammers (not full proof):
If you give me some examples, I can try helping you set up rules if needed (please no sensitive / inappropriate content).
I would also recommend looking into Hide My Email to avoid giving out your real email address - What is Hide My Email? - Apple Support
Your personal email is already out there so it'll still fall victim to scammers and spammers.
Hide My Email just allows you to give out a fake address instead of your real one. It's beneficial in the sense if you've never given out your personal email. My best recommendation is to go through all the websites/accounts you've signed up for and give them a Hide My Email address instead of your personal one. Do this for future websites/accounts as well. Continue to block anything going to your personal email.
The other benefit of Hide My Email is say you signed up for Tesla with a Hide My Email address, but are getting Tesla ads/warnings to your personal email address. Well then, this is clearly a scam because Tesla would only be aware of the Hide My Email address (assuming you never gave them your personal one). This works vice versa as well. If you only use that Hide My Email address at Tesla (NO WHERE ELSE), you know nothing should be going to that email besides Tesla content. However, I still wouldn't trust Tesla content arriving and always go through the proper steps to identify if an email is real or phishing.
Many thanks. I signed on to hide your email, so I’ll see how that goes. Appreciate the help !
