print all contacts

Have an iphone XS. Want to print all my contacts from icloud. I cannot see where I can multi-select to export to a vcard. It makes a vcard for each one, not a group list. Any idea how to have ALL my contacts exported so that I can print a hard copy?

Hi vlandrand,

We appreciate you reaching out to us. We understand that you are looking to select multiple contacts to be exported to a vCard.

Performing that task on an iPhone may not be possible. However, you can try the steps below if you have access to a Mac or a Windows computer.

When using a Mac, please try the steps below.

  1. "In the Contacts app  on your Mac, select one or more contacts.
  2. Choose File > Export > Export vCard, choose a location, then click Save. The contacts are exported as a vCard file (.vcf) only."

When using a Windows computer, you can export your contacts through our iCloud page by following the steps below.

  1. "In Contacts on iCloud.com, click to select a contact in the contacts list. If you want to export multiple contacts, press and hold Command (on a Mac computer) or Control (on a Windows computer), then click each contact you want to export.
  2. Click the Show Actions Menu pop-up button in the sidebar, then choose Export vCard. If you select multiple contacts, Contacts exports a single vCard containing all of them."

Yes, thank you. I appreciate your taking the time to type this. Right after I posted this question, I discovered how to collect all my contacts on one vcard.

THE BIG ISSUE IS: how to print the info from there. I wanted to print one hard copy of my contact list as a back-up in case power goes out etc. But the vcard info won't convert in bulk into Outlook or any Microsoft software that I know of. It only prints the front page of the info. Converting it into .csf doesn't help either because it only collects people and not companies listed. So right now, I'm stuck having to write my contact list by hand. YIKES....

I spent 2 hours with APPLE TECHNICAL SUPPORT yesterday, and they were stuck on this too.....

but thank you very much.
