iOS constantly asks to use Apple ID on Apple TV

So my iPhone and iPad Both constantly ask me to “Use my Apple ID on This Apple TV”.

Only problem is, I don’t have any Apple TVs installed in my home. It only does it when I’m in the living room of my apartment. So maybe it’s trying to Bluetooth to a neighbor? But it’s very annoying as it asks about every 10 minutes. I even try to connect sometimes and it gives me an error message.

Can anyone tell me how do I turn this off?

Both devices are on the latest iOS.

Thanks!

Hello STEVER315,

It sounds like your neighbor may have the “Anyone can see and stream content to your Apple TV” setting turned on for their Apple TV. This is explained more here: If you're asked to enter an AirPlay password on Apple TV - Apple Support. Are you able to ask them about it? They may not be aware that this is turned on.

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.
