AirPod disturbing sound

one ear pad in one of my left year without the other one sound is ok, if the other pair is close by or put in another ear the disturbing sound is coming.

Wondering if checking through your settings and experimenting with the "noise" controls / modes would help:

You might want to check / change the volume level on the AirPods themselves:

Pause, skip, and adjust volume with your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support


Make sure nothing (a speck of dirt or wax) is blocking / interfering with / the microphone and speaker

About iOS 16 Updates - Apple Support says iOS 16.5.1 is the latest


That way the firmware on the AirPods will automatically update if necessary, when paired..
